What is QZ Aviation Ground School?

QZ Aviation Ground School is an aviation education program specializing in ground instruction for aspiring pilots. The goal is to prepare you for flight instruction, but cost YOU less money, and be sure you can maximize your learning, before entering the flight deck of an airplane.

Who can enroll in QZ Aviation Ground School?

Anyone with an interest in aviation can enroll, including student pilots and those seeking advanced pilot ratings. We always suggest future pilots ask about – and try to obtain – their medical certification prior to training. However, ground training is a great way to get your feet wet, without jumping into big costs & time commitments.

What do I need for classes? Books? Supplies?

We start our first class with a brief introduction to supplies you will want to obtain as you progress in your training. For first time students, we encourage them to start with the FREE FAA provided text materials, available online. That way you can be sure becoming a pilot is the right thing for you – before you spend money on supplies!
